Who I Am

I am Brooke Anderson, I recently moved from Michigan to come to Weber State University for a degree in Visual Communications. I have come a long way and I have worked very hard to get where I am today and I can't wait to see what Utah has to offer for my future.

I am an extremely passionate person in a few areas of my life. One being art, the other being God. Things are a lot different here in Utah than they were at home as far as religion goes. I come from a non-denominational Christian Church. I am use to being around people have similar views as me, or has at least heard them at one point in their life. Being in a place where I am surrounded by people who don't believe what I do is definitely an adventure. I have a very abstract mind, hence why I love art. I can make the ugliest piece of art and nobody can tell me it's wrong because I created it with my own rules. I can't wait to expand that more into a career.

I was offered an awesome opportunity to come to Weber. Some of you may laugh because I have heard so many people say how much they want to get out of Utah and how upset they are because they had to come to Weber just because it is cheap. I came here for many reasons, one is because my best friend's family offered me a place to stay, which I desperately needed. I came to experience a loving family environment, which many of you seek to get away from in some aspects, haha.
