Art

After a long day of school my brain is typically in knots that I can't find the ends to. Art is something you can create on your own without anyone's opinion. It has no rules and no boundaries. You never have to apologize for your art and you never have to fix it to please someone else.
Art is very important in my life. It has helped me get though a lot of rough times in my life. When things seemed to not makes sense I would pull out my paints and begin to create something beautiful. Art reminds me that no matter how much traded y is going on in the world, you can still create something beautiful.
If someone were to pick up art as a hobby, I would expect them to acquire a new outlook on ow to deal with stress or depression. It's not all about creating something that looks cool, but an activity that will support them emotionally. Art is a reflection of your personality and different chapters in your life.

  2. I love art. My mom and sister are really good artists, unfortunately I didn't inherit the gene, but I still try out of curiosity. I wish I was really good at it because I think it's something I could really get into, and I agree with what you're saying. It's some pretty awesome stuff.

  3. Brooke I feel the same way. My funnest class I have ever took was an intro to Art. I did really well in that class. I find it very easy to just let go and do what comes natural. I completely agree with you that art is an activity that can support you emotionally... :)
    Great Post!

  4. "Art reminds me that no matter how much tragedy is going on in the world, you can still create something beautiful." I love that quote. It's so true that you can still find the beauty in tragedy. And I agree that art does support people emotionally. That's what make the art real and meaningful.
