During 5th grade our whole class took a field trip to Greenfield Village in Michigan, my home state. It is mostly a historical museum full of awesome artifacts from years ago. My school needed chaperons to help lead the trip and my dad was one of the ones that came.
We were walking down a road and I saw some cool scenery that I wanted to capture. I pulled my camera up and put my finger on the button and "click". I don't remember what was behind my dads obnoxious pose because as soon as I took it I knew the picture was going to be hilarious. My dad randomly stuck his head out in front of the lens and got and awkward angle of his giant sunglasses and head. This picture captures my dads humor and personality, I love it.

Hey Brooke,
ReplyDeleteI really admire how you are willing to put yourself out there and talk about your dad. He was obviously a great guy, and this picture gives the greatest example!
It's so true that the more personal something is, the better and more relatable it is. Keep being real and great job!
